PULP: Fact, Fiction & Fantasy

This juried exhibition of handmade paper art features 2-D and 3-D creations from artists across the country, including a poetic paper measuring tape, an installation of paper clothing for a wedding party where members wear their hearts on their sleeves, and several images painted entirely with paper pulp. Lincoln Home National Historic Site to Re-create Historic Photograph
August 28, 10:30 a.m.
. civilian re-enactors, along with Lincoln Home volunteers and staff in 1860-style clothing, will pose for a photograph in front of the Lincoln Home. This will be a re-creation of a photograph taken on August 8, 1860 during a political rally in Abraham Lincoln’s neighborhood. Those planning to be in the photograph should be at the Lincoln Home Visitor Center by 10:15 a.m.
